4. DESCRIPTION OF PARAMETERS
B–63010EN/02
122
1942 Safety speed of each axis for dual check safety function
NOTE
When this parameter has been set, the power must be
turned off before operation is continued.
[Data type] 2–word axis
[Unit of data, Valid data range]
Valid data range
Increment system Unit of data
IS-A, IS-B IS-C
Metric machine
1 mm/min 0 to 240,000 0 to 100,000
Inch machine
0.1 inch/min 0 to 96,000 0 to 48,000
Rotation axis
1 deg/min 0 to 240,000 0 to 100,000
Set the safety speed of each axis.
In the safety signal mode B (a guard open request is input, and the guard is
closed) with the dual check safety function, the CNC and monitor check
the velocity command of each axis. If a velocity command exceeding the
range of safety speed is found on a single axis at least, the guard unlock
enable signal *LGD is set to 0 so that the guard will not be unlocked. A
single condition for setting the guard unlock enable signal *LGD to 1
(enabling guard unlock) is that the velocity commands for all the axes are
within the range of safety speed.
In the safety signal mode C (a guard open request is input, and the guard is
open), the CNC and monitor check the velocity command of each axis. If
a velocity command exceeding the range of safety speed is found on a
single axis at least, a servo alarm is raised.
1943 Safety position (positive direction) of each axis for dual check safety function
1944 Safety position (negative direction) of each axis for dual check safety function
NOTE
When this parameter has been set, the power must be
turned off before operation is continued.
