1.5.1.3 Entering of Contour Program
Start Point
When the user selects new program entry, the data item screen for the
start point will be displayed first.
Data item Comment
START POINT X X coordinate of a contour figure start point
START POINT Z Z coordinate of a contour figure start point
FEED METHOD Type of motion toward a start point
(No G-code/G00/G01)
FEEDRATE Feedrate under G01 selecting
[AUX.] : Call auxiliary calculating screen. The result of it will be
set into start point coordinate data.
[OFFSET] : Call a cutter compensation setting screen. (Available at
only when a parameter No.9341#5(DCD) is set to 1)
[OK] : Fix start point data and store into memory.
[EXIT] : Cancel start point entering and exit from contour
programming.
NOTE
By setting a parameter No.9342#2(STP) to 1, data
comment of start point can be changed to
"APPROACH POINT".
Offset
On the data item screen, on which the start point of the previous
clause or later line is described, pressing the [OFFSET] key causes
the following screen for entering the cutter compensation setting to be
displayed.
[NO OUT] : Do not output a command of cutter compensation
[G41] : Output G41
[G42] : Output G42
[G40] : Output G40 for offset canceling
[RETURN] : Return to former screen, start point or line
If necessary, enter offset number data. Otherwise leave it empty.
After entering the necessary data, press [RETURN] to return to the
former screen.
Then, enter the remaining data, or modify the figure data and store it
into memory by pressing [OK].
