During normal system startup, the user does not consider the presence of
the boot system because the boot system automatically transfers files
from the flash memory in the Power Mate i to DRAM. When
maintenance is to be performed or the flash memory contains no file, start
the boot system using BOOTINIT.EXE for maintenance.
(1)Start BOOTINIT.EXE following the procedure described in G.3 (2).
(2)When communication starts between BOOTINIT.EXE and Power
Mate, the following message appears on the package screen:
**BOOT SYSTEM**
STARTING NOW!
HIT <ENTER>
(3)Check this message, then press the ENTER key.
(4)When communication is normally established, the following screen
appears:
