CAUTION
If modifications are made to the programs O8000 through
O8031 after compilation, the modifications are not reflected
until the programs are compiled again.
CAUTION
After modifying the following parameters, be sure to perform
compilation:
Parameter No. 1011 (number of controlled axes)
Parameter No. 1020 (program axis name of each axis)
c. DPL/MDI
1) Select the high response mode or the EDIT mode.
2) Display the program–editing screen.
3) Press the
CAN
key together with the
No.
key, and the program
from O8000 to O8031 are compiled at once.
If the compiling is finished normally, the message “COMPILE
OK” will be displayed.
If the compiling is finished abnormally, the message “COMPILE
ERR xxxx” will be displayed. (The “xxxx” shows an error code.
For details of the error code, refer to the “Error code list at
compiling”.)
(The notes of compiling are same as DPL/MDI operation package)
A desired compiled motion program can be executed by pressing the start
button corresponding to the program number.
NOTE
1 A motion program is executed, starting with the first block at
all times.
2 When compared with a block specifying an incremental
command, a block specifying an absolute command may
require a longer time before the start of execution. So,
create a program using incremental commands wherever
possible. Moreover, automatic reference position return
operation (G28) may also require a longer time before the
start of execution.
3 Motion programs as many as the number of controlled axes
can be executed simultaneously. However, multiple motion
programs, each specifying the same axis or the same M
codes, cannot be executed simultaneously.
4 While the reset signal RST is on, motion programs cannot
be executed.
CAUTION
If an absolute command is specified during servo–off or
torque limit control, positioning at the specified position may
be impossible.
