Multiaxis synchronization control
Mechanical synchronization (G145)
Start point synchronization (G146
This function operates axes (synchro-
nous axes) in phase with a synchro-
nization reference axis (synchroniza-
tion base axis) as if multiple axes were
jointed with gears by using a servo
motor.
An inter–axis speed ratio (gear ratio)
can be set. A synchronous relation-
ship is maintained, regardless of how
many turns are made. Moreover, the
speed ratio can be changed during
operation.

Child axis
G145 G91 G01 arbitrary–one–
axis_R_; (Mandatory)
Operation: The child axis specified
by arbitrary–one–axis performs syn-
chronous operation in phase with the
parent axis.
arbitrary–one–axis: Local axis (syn-
chronous axis) travel distance (Unit:
Least input increment)
R: Parent axis (synchronization
base axis) travel distance (Unit:
Least input increment)
G146 G91 G01 arbitrary–one–
axis_R_Q_; (Q only may be omitted.)
Operation: The axis specified by ar-
bitrary–one–axis is synchronized
with the parent axis.
arbitrary–one–axis: Local axis (syn-
chronous axis) travel distance (Unit:
Least input increment)
R: Parent axis (synchronization
base axis) travel distance (Unit:
Least input increment)
Q: Machine coordinate on the parent
axis where local axis synchronization
starts (Unit: Least input increment)
If Q is omitted, synchronization starts
at the origin of the parent axis.
