6. CONNECTION OF I/O UNITS TO
The power to the FSSB I/O module must be supplied from an external
24–VDC stabilized power source.
FSSB I/O module External power source
GND1 is the frame ground of the FSSB I/O module.
Connect GND1 to the ground plate of the cabinet using
the same Faston terminal (A02B–0166–K330) as that
used for the Power Mate i.
External power source
Recommended cable specification :
The external power source side of the cable has an M3 crimp terminal.
The 24–VDC power input to CP11A can be extracted from CP11B. The
connection of CP11B is the same as that of CP11A.
(1)When the cable is run outside the cabinet, use a common shield cable.

Clamp the cable shield with the cable clamp on the grounding plate of
the cabinet on the I/O module side.
