1. SUMMARY
In case of using α SVU amplifier, which has been shipped from Sept.-1999 and Nov.-1999,
the DC-LINK Low-Voltage alarm (alarm ”3”) will occur in case of using external Electro-
magnetic contactor through contact signal CX3 from α SVU amplifier.
The corresponding amplifier unit/edition and counter measure are shown as following.
This trouble never fails to occur under the above condition. On the other hand, this trouble
never occurs while using the machine at the end-user because this trouble must occur at the
standing up of the machine.
2. CORRESPONDING AMPLIFIER UNIT / EDITION
The α-SVU with following table unit and edition has this failure.
However in case of SVUC, contactor signal CX3 is not used. So, this failure will not occur.

3. CONUTER MEASURE
Replace Control PCB to following revised edition, or to PCB modified by A06R-6089-0015
(Cutting a pattern, and connection by one wiring).

Replacing Control PCB .
1. Remove a yellow plastic cover. (Without any screw)
2. Replace a Control PCB (Size: 140mm x 75mm) fixed by four pieces of M3 screws.
3. Mark a red dot with oily red ink on the right of Total Unit’s Edition on the α SVU’s front
label, or rewrite the Total Unit’s Edition to next one.
