1. General
It is the X-axis or the Z-axis, the angular axis control moves the angular axis, and when the input
of tool offset value measured B is measured, the measured tool offset value has the influence by the
movement of the angular axis. This function can exclude the traveled distance which is influenced
the tool offset value by the movement of the angular axis by the input of tool offset value measured
B and set a correct tool offset value when the parameter No.5009#3 is set to 1.
And this function is effective when the X-axis or the Z-axis is only a perpendicular axis in the
angular axis control.
2. Details
When the perpendicular axis is the X-axis or the Z-axis in the angular axis control, this function
can correctly set the tool offset value by the input of tool offset value measured B by setting the
parameter.
The position of the touch sensor is not on the X-axis (position of Y=0) when the Y-axis is the
angular axis. The X-axis (perpendicular axis) moves along with the movement of the Y‘-axis
(angular axis), and the machine position of the X-axis is updated.
The input of tool offset value measured B measures the difference of the machine position value of
the measuring reference position from the machine position value of the contact face of the touch
sensor. (distance from the measuring reference position to the touch sensor)
And the tool offset value subtracts the traveled distance of the X-axis generated by the movement
of the Y‘-axis and the tool offset value have been set.
