Automatic reference position return (G28) improvement
in simple synchronous control axis Specifications

2 Specifications
Currently, the alarm No.213 occurs if the automatic reference potion return (G28) is
commanded for the simple synchronous control axes whose reference positions are
not established.
When the parameter SLR (No.8305#4) is set to “1”, the automatic reference position
return (G28) is available for the simple synchronous control without executing the
manual reference position return.
In case that the reference position of either master axis or slave axis is already
established in the simple synchronous control, the alarm No.90 occurs when the
automatic reference position return (G28) is commanded for establishing the
reference positions.
In this case, the automatic reference position return (G28) becomes available after
canceling the alarm No.90 by reset operation.
Note
1. The state in which the reference position has not been established
refers to that state in which reference position return has not been
performed after power–on when an absolute position detector is not
being used, or that state in which the association of the machine
position with the position detected with the absolute position detector
has not been completed (see the description of bit 4 (APZx) of
parameter No.1815) when an absolute position detector is being
used.
2. When G28 command is specified, specify the only master axis of
simple synchronous control.
