1. Outline
The spindle switching function can realize the spindle control in arbitrary
combination of spindle motors and commands to a spindle in Path Table
Operation.
2. Description
The combination of spindle motors and commands can be switched by the
signals of spindle switching function.
Basic Specifications is based on the "FANUC Series 30i/31i/32i Spindle
Switching Function."
Please refer to the specification of "FANUC Series 30i/31i/32i Spindle
Switching Function (A-90068E)".
The Limitations in Path Table Operation are as follows.
Spindle mode
Spindle switching function can execute in Spindle speed control mode (R11).
Spindle need not stop.
SP1251 alarm occurs if spindle switching function is executed in other
mode.
Spindle Position Reference
When a table that based on spindle position is executing, spindle switching
function cannot execute.
SP1251 alarm occurs if spindle switching function is executed when a table
that based on spindle position is executing.
