3.3 Connection of serial spindle and analog spindle
Note1 2+2 spindles(2 spindles in path1 and 2 spindles in path2) can be
connected in FS16i. 2+1 spindles(2 spindles in path1 and 1 spindle in
path2) can be connected in FS18i.
Note2 Analog spindle can be connected up to one axis in only one path of path1
or path2.
Note3 Connection of serial spindle is as follows.
Spindle1 and spindle2 of path1 : Same as spindle1 and spindle2 in
one-path control
Spindle1 and spindle2 of path2 : Same as spindle3 and spindle4 in
one-path control
To connect serial spindles of path2, Serial Spindle
Distribution(A13B-0180-B001) is necessary.
Note4 The connector of analog spindle is always “JA40”. It is determined by
parameter EAS(No.3702#5) whether analog spindle is used in path1 or
path2.
Note5 Position coder of analog spindle can not be connected.
