1 .I Outline of PROFIBUS
PROFIBUS is the Local Area Network for DVDO among DI/DO device, PLC, PC and Power Mate.
In the PROFIBUS network, Power Mate can communicate only with one host PROFIBUS device.
DI/DO up to 256/256 points (32132 bytes) at maximum can be transferred between Power Mate
and the other devices. The DI/DO address for PROFIBUS on Power Mate PMC is assigned from
X1032/Y1032 to Xl 063/Y1063 (32132 bytes). The data size transferred through Genius between
Power Mate and the other device is specified by the parameter number 1711172.
This manual describes the specifications of PROFIBUS board on Power Mate that is used for the
DI/DO communication.
Note) When PROFIBUS is specified, I/O Link-II, M-NET and Genius cannot be used.
Also I/O Link slave function cannot be used.
