Changing of the USA specification main breaker for FANUC LASER C series
1. Outline
To improve the safety of the laser oscillator by the earth fault protection, The USA specification main
breaker of FANUC LASER C series is changed to the earth-leakage breaker. The cable connection
terminals of the all USA specification main breakers change from the Block Terminal to the Screw
Terminal by this changing. Therefore, please connect the cable by using the recommended solderless
terminal of each breaker that shows in the following.
2. Changing Model
USA specification of Model C1000-E, C2000-E, C4000-E, C5000-E & C6000-E
However, the cable connection terminal of C5000-E and C6000-E is applied to the screw terminal from
the beginning
3. Details of changing contents
3-1. Specification of earth-leakage breaker for each model
Refer to page 4 for the comparison of the sizes. The externals shape of the breaker handle doesn't
have the change.
(1)C1000-E:Rated current 75A, Sensed current 30mA
Rated current is changed from 80A to 75A.
