
Function of interception of the power line to motor at Alpha(HV)i series SVM
1. Overview
So far the external MCC has been necessary to cut the power to motor of the each axis.
The power to the motor can be cut by this function instead of connecting external MCC.

(2) Function
1) The safety relay “K50” operates by external contact signal.”
2) The contact “A” (a contact) of the relay “K50” cuts off the power supply of the driver for
the power transistor.
3) The contact “B” (b contact) of the relay “K50 is used to monitor the status.
(3) Operation of the circuit
When the external contact closes, the contact “A” of the relay “K50” closes. The power
supply of the driver for power transistors turns on, then input for the power transistors are
enabled. The contact “B” is open in this state.
When the external contact is open, the contact “A” cuts off the power supply of the driver
for power transistor, and the power transistors turn off forcedly. The contact “B” closes in
this state.
