6.Note
- The multi-spindle control option is necessary to use this function.
- In the case of parameter SOV (No.3106#5) (the spindle override value is
displayed)=1, 1st spindle speed override value is displayed.
- During constant surface speed control, the spindle speed is overridden
after it is clamped at the value specified in the maximum spindle speed
clamp command (G50S_ for T series and G92S_ for M series). So,
please be careful because the actual spindle speed may exceed the value
specified in the spindle speed clamp command.
Parameter SOC (No.3708#5)(during constant surface speed control, the
speed clamp is carried out after spindle speed override) is disabled. Even
if this parameter is set, above note is not changed.
But above limit to the spindle speed (No.3772) can be applied to clamp
the spindle speed.
- During this function, there is a function to fix the override to 100%
during tapping cycle mode (G84,G74 for M series and G84,G88 for T
series) and thread cutting mode (G33 for M series and G32,G92,G76 for
T series). If spindle override is changed, the parameter
TSO(No.3708#6) set to 1.
- Parameter No.5131(setting chamfering angle in threading cycle) can not
be used. Please set 0 to this parameter.
- Set an override value to 100% for spindles whose speeds are not
specified override.
- The spindle override isn't effective in the spindle which is controlled
spindle speed with PMC.

This function can be used when multi-spindle control type C (parameter MSC (No.3713#3)) is set. This function requires multi-spindle control option. 2.Specification When ea
