External power control trigger signal EPC <G221#0>
[Classification] Input signal
[Function] The external power control mode is validated.
[Operation] When this signal is "1", the CNC judges if the transition to the
external power control mode is possible and, if so, accepts this signal
and is set into that mode as long as it remains to be "1".

Then only the pulse duty 0 % command is sent to the laser oscillator
irrespective of the output command by the program (CW/pulse).
The external signal in the form of pulse train upon the beam on
command pulse-modulates the laser output power command and, thus,
the average power control by means of the external signal is possible.
External power control mode signal EPM <F223#3>
[Classification] Output signal
[Function] The completion of the preparation of external power control is
informed to the PMC.
[Output condition] When the external power control trigger signal (EPC) is "1" and
the same control is ready, the CNC sets this signal (EPM) to
be "1".
Then set the pulse train on. Likewise when this signal is "0", set
the pulse train off.
