Flexible synchronization control
5) Issuing G28, G30, G30.1 or G53 during synchronization control results
in the PS010 (IMPROPER G CODE) alarm being issued. Before
issuing G28, G30, G30.1 or G53, cancel synchronization control.
6) The parameters (Nos. 5660 to 5667, 5670 to 5677, 5680 to 5687, and
5690 to 5693) can be set in a part program that uses a programmable
parameter input (G10).
However, even if a flexible synchronization control mode changes the
parameter of the group of turning on, the parameter does not become
effective at once. It is necessary to turn off a flexible synchronization
control mode once to make the changed parameter effective, and turn
on the mode again.
7) The display of the slave axis position may or may not be updated by
synchronization pulses as follows:
♦ The machine position display is updated.
(The display may appear not to be in synchronization, because
update is based on post-acceleration/-deceleration a travel distance.)
♦ Neither the absolute position display nor the relative position display
is updated.
The absolute position display and the relative position display of the
slave axis are updated by adding a synchronization-based travel
distance when synchronization is canceled.
However, when the parameter of not updating the machine coordinates
of the group is set(Parameter No.5668#0-#3 is 1), the update operation
of the above-mentioned absolute coordinate and the relative coordinate
is not done.
8) When the flexible synchronization mode is turned from off to on during
an automatic operation, the PS5242 (ILLEGAL AXIS NUMBER)
alarm is issued if the specified master or slave axis number is incorrect.
9) When the flexible synchronization mode is turned from off to on during
an automatic operation, the PS5243 (DATA OUTRANGE) alarm is
issued if the specified gear ratio is incorrect.
10) When the flexible synchronization mode is turned from off to on or on
to off during an automatic operation, the PS5244 (TOO MANY DI ON)
alarm is issued if the mode signal does not become on or off after an M
code is executed.
11) A synchronous group which makes the PMC axis a master axis must
turn on EAXn signal (G0136) of the PMC axis control previously
before turning on the flexible synchronization mode.
12) A synchronous group which makes the PMC axis a master axis must
turn on the flexible synchronization mode by M code under automatic
operation.
When the flexible synchronization mode is turned on excluding
automatic operation, the alarm of PS5245 (OTHER AXIS ARE
COMMANDED) is issued.
13) AI contour control I or AI contour control II is automatically turned off
while the mode of a synchronous group which makes the PMC axis a
master axis turns on.
