FANUC Series 30i/31i-MODEL A
Flexible synchronization control
14) A synchronous group which makes the PMC axis a master axis must
turn on synchronous modes most first.
Moreover, a synchronous group which makes the PMC axis a master
axis must turn off the synchronous mode at the end.
15) When a synchronous group which makes the axis a master axis is used,
a synchronous group which makes the PMC axis a master axis cannot
be made usually.
The alarm of PS5245 (OTHER AXIS ARE COMMANDED) is issued
at such use.
16) If the flexible synchronization control mode is already or just entered,
the PS5245 (OTHER AXIS ARE COMMANDED) alarm is issued in
any of the following cases:
♦ Both the master axis and its slave axis, which is in synchronization
with the master axis, happen to be the same EGB axis.
♦ Both the master axis and its slave axis, which is in synchronization
with the master axis, happen to be the same chopping axis.
♦ Both the master axis and its slave axis, which is in synchronization
with the master axis, happen to be the same angular axis control
axis.
♦ Both the master axis and its slave axis, which is in synchronization
with the master axis, happen to be the same mixture control axis.
♦ Both the master axis and its slave axis, which is in synchronization
with the master axis, happen to be the same Superimposed Control
axis.
♦ Both the slave axis, which is in synchronization with the master axis,
happen to be the same Synchronous Control axis.
♦ The reference position return mode is entered (or has been entered).
17) If an SV alarm condition occurs, the flexible synchronization mode is
automatically turned off after deceleration to a stop.
18) The output pulse for the slave axis is generated by multiplying the
frequency of the detection-unit output pulse for the master axis by the
gear ratio.
19) If the spindle is synchronized with the servo motor, it is necessary to
cause the loop gain of the servo motor to match that of the spindle in
order to make their positional deviations equal.
20) The actual speed display does not take synchronization pulses into
account.
21) When the synchronous mode is turned on or off, the master axis and the
slave axis should stop.
When the synchronous mode is turned on with the axis has not stopped,
the PS5244 (TOO MANY DI ON) alarm is issued.
