7. TROUBLE SHOOTING
7.1. LSI ERROR turns ON
1) Please measure the voltage between 5VEX and GND of TM1.
If it is less than 4.75V, the capability of CNC power supply is not enough.
Please remove a short piece attached to 5VIN and 5VEX of TM1 and connect external power
supply between 5VEX and GND.
2) OFF and ON the CNC power.
If the problem does not solved after all, the Servo Check Board may be damaged.
7.2. Analog Output does not work
Please check RECV indicator of the channel. If it is OFF, the data may not be sent from the
DSP.
Please check following items.
1) Is the Channel Setting value correct?
2) TSA(DATA=2) does not sent from DSP when No.2115(No.1726 in FS15) is zero.(except
digital servo software 90A0 series)
No.2206(1746 in FS15)#7 must be zero if digital servo software is 90A0 series.
7.3. Digital Output does not work
(with Servo Tuning Software or Servo Auto Tuning Software)
1) Please check if all RECV indicator to be measured are ON.
If not, refer to “Analog Output does not work” above.
2) If PC ACCESS indicator does not turn ON nor blink during the tuning software runs on PC,
check cable connection between Servo Check Board and PC and printer port number
setting(LPTx) on PC.
3) The printer port mode of PC must be set to “bi-directional” mode. It can be check and change
in BIOS setting menu in many PCs. To open BIOS setting menu, refer to the manuals of your
PC.
Note: some PC can not set the printer port mode to bi-directional. In this case, Servo Tuning
Software or Servo Auto Tuning Software can not be used on the PC.
7.4. Channel Setting value does not keep the last value when the power turned off.
A EEPROM(reference No.D12 on the board) may be damaged. Please contact our service
section and exchange this device.
The endurance is about 100,000 times of channel number change.
