SERVO CHECK BOARD
DESCRIPTIONS
A-72569EN-021
FANUC LTD
Reference Descriptions
CNI1 Connector for 1st/2nd axis input. Can not use with CNI3 at the same time. *
CNI2 Connector for 3rd/4th axis input. Can not use with CNI3 at the same time. *
CNI3 Connector for 1st upto 4th axis input. *
Can not use with CNI1 nor CNI2 at the same time.
CNI4 Connector for 5th upto 8th axis input. *
CNB1 Digital data output for CH1. (FANUC specified parallel interface).
CNB2 Digital data output for CH2. (FANUC specified parallel interface).
CNS1 Analog spindle signal output .
Connect CNI3 and JA8A (which is for analog spindle/servo check signal of
FS15,FS16A/B,C) when an analog spindle is used..
CNA1 Digital data output of CH1 upto CH4.
(PS/2 parallel port interface)
Used for the Servo Autotuning Function.
TM1 5VEX and 5VIN is connected by default and the power is supplied from CNC.
In the case of the shortage of power supply capability, a external power supply
must be connected to this terminal. Please refer to the section of TROUBLE
SHOOTING in this document.
7 segment LED Channel setting is displayed.
push switches
+, -, <- , ->
Used to set value to 7 segment LEDs.
+,-:Change the value of the blinking digit.
<-,->:Change the blinking digit
RECV indicator These indicators turn on when the selected kind of data of each channel is
received normally.
PC ACCESS
indicator
These indicators turn on when the data of each channel is accessed by PC
connected to CNA1.
ANALOG ERROR
indicator
This indicator turns on when some error occurs at analog outputs.
ANALOG
OUTPUT
The received data are converted to analog voltage and output to these check pins.
These outputs are available only when the corresponding RECV indicator is ON.
LSI ERROR
indicator
This indicator turns on when some error occurs during initialization of the Servo
Check Board. See the section of TROUBLE SHOOTING in this document.
*) Axis number (1st, 2nd ... 8th) means the number set to parameter No.1023 (No.269-No.274 for
FS0-C).
