In this manual, specifications and connection diagrams of High Resolution Serial Output
Circuit C are described.

5.Specification and Function
(1) Specification
Ordering Number : A860-0333-T801
Current Consumption : 250mA max.
(2) Function
High Resolution Serial Output Circuit C consists of circuit which detect absolute
position from signals from linear encoder or rotary encoder with distance-coded
reference marks, circuit which automatically cancels offset voltage of analog input
signals and interpolates to 2,048 divisions, and driver/receiver circuit which
communicates with CNC.
(3) Interface of reference signal and setting “SW2”
This circuit can receive two types of reference signal interface. When the setting of
“SW2” is “A”, analog type reference signal can be received. When “B”, digital type
(RS-422 or RS-485)can be received.
“SW2” is setting side-A at the time of shipment.
