1. Outline
Spindle setting / tuning / monitor screens enable you to easily set the parameters for serial
spindle control. It is also possible to display serial spindle state monitor.
These screens are applied to the second and third spindles, as well as the first spindle. And
it is applied to main / sub spindles of spindle switching function. But it is not applied to
analog spindle.

Details
2-1 Display method
If you press the function key [SYSTEM] and then the continuous menu key “>”, the soft
key “SP.PRM” appears. By pressing the soft key “SP.PRM”, the following soft keys
appear. By using these soft keys, the following screens can be selected.

Spindle monitor screen
In each screen, the information of each spindle amplifier is displayed by using the page
keys and/or the cursor keys. (The number of displayed spindle amplifiers depends on
setting of parameter No.3701#5,#4. )
In case of applying spindle switching function (serial spindle parameter No.4014#0 =1),
the information of the currently selected spindle is displayed in each screen automatically.
In spindle setting and tuning screens it is also possible to set some spindle related
parameters.
