Caution
Caution
This function by G10 command swaps over axis name in the position
screen. It doesn’t exchange the axis attirbution itself.
When both 1
st
axis (XA) on Path-1 and 1
st
axis (XB) on Path-2 are in
the composite mode and swap over their axis name by G10
command, please give attention to following notes.
1) Parameter
For example,
Rapid traverse rate of 1
st
axis on Path-1 : 1000mm/min
Rapid traverse rate of 1
st
axis on Path-2 : 2000mm/min
When the block “G00XB100.” is performed on Path-1 side, XB axis
moves for F1000mm/min. If you swap each rapid traverse rate,
please set the parameter MRFx(No.8169#2) to 1.
2) Alarm screen
If you swap axis name in the alarm screen, please set the parameter
MALx(No.8169#4) to 1.
3) Position screen
Please set the parameter MDMx(No.8169#0) to 1 if the machine
coordinates display indicates coordinates in the local system,
and please set the parameter MDXx(No.8163#0) to 1 if the absolute
and relative coordinates display indicates coordinates in the other
system under composite control.
4) Minimum setting unit, inch/metric, radius/diameter
As for composite controlled axes, it needs to be the same setting
value.
They depends on the setting of the commanded path side.
5) Origin, preset operation
Origin and preset operation is valid for the axis on the Path side for
you has done preset.
When you has done preset operation to XB axis on Path-1,
it is done for 1
st
axis on Path-1, not to 1
st
axis on Path2.
6) Custom macro
Data which can be gotten by the axis name or the axis number is the
data of the commanded path side.
When you get some data by using some index( ‘[XB]’ or ‘[1]’) in the
program on Path-1, they belong to 1
st
axis on Path-1, not to 1
st
axis
on Path2.

In the composite control mode, the swapped axis name is available in the program, and the axis name is also swapped in the position screen.
