Detachable LCD/MDI Type B

1. Outline
The detachable LCD/MDI Type B is 8.4” LCD/MDI unit integrated in a portable box.
The detachable LCD/MDI Type B has the following merits.
•
Compared to a usual detachable LCD/MDI, it is very thin and about half of weight.
•
It can be connected to a CNC via Display link (CRT link), and with video signal/MDI signal.
•
It is possible to connect and disconnect while the CNC is turn on.(detachable)
•
The power is AC100V to AC240V.
Before connecting the detachable LCD/MDI Type B (after this, called detachable LCD/MDI),
please confirm the interface of the CNC. The connection method of the cables is different with
the interface. Setting with a switch SW1 is necessary.
Please refer to the item 7 “Complement matters” for the condition of CNC.
In case of Display link, the connection method is the following.

Note
1. The cables between the Detachable LCD/MDI and terminal panel, the cable between the
terminal panel and the power supply, the cables between the terminal panel and the
CNC, and terminal panel itself must be prepared by customer.
2. The selection switch SW1 is for setting of the connection method. When the switch is set
to “A”, the unit is connected via video signal/MDI signal. When the switch is set to “B”,
the unit is connected via display link.
