FANUC LTD.
2 Differences from the Series 16i
- It is only machining system that is able to use the twin-table control in Series 16
i.
However, this function can be used by both machining system and lathe system in Series
30
i/31i/31i-A/32i.
・ The signal’s name and address are changed.
Sereis 16i Sereis 30i/31i/31i-A5/32i
Signals to select the axis for
twin-table control
SYNM1~SYNM8 <G122>
Twin-table control master axis selection signal for
automatic operation
SYNM1~SYNM8 <Gn541>
Signals to select the slave axis for
simple synchronous control
SYNC1~SYNC8 <G138>
Twin-table control slave axis selection signal for
automatic operation
SYNC1~SYNC8 <Gn138>
Signals to select the manual feed
axis for twin-table control
SYNMJ1~SYNMJ8 <G128>
Twin-table control master axis selection signal for
manual operation
SYNMJ1~SYNMJ8 <Gn542>
Signals for selecting the manual
feed axis for simple synchronous
control
SYNCJ1~SYNCJ8 <G140>
Twin-table control slave axis selection signal for
manual operation
SYNCJ1~SYNCJ8 <Gn140>
In the Series 16
i, the machining system used signals <G122>,<G128> for twin-table
control, and the lathe system used it for synchronous control and composite control.
In the Series 30
i/31i/31i-A/32i, synchronous control and composite control can be used
by both machining system and lathe system, too. Because signals <G122>,<G128> are
used by the synchronous control and composite control, the address of Signals to select
the axis for twin-table control and Signals to select the manual feed axis for twin-table
control are changed.
・ The following limitation is repealed.
”The maximum number of the groups of master axis and slave axes is 4groups.”
・ Parameter No.8339 (M code for single operation in twin-table control) is added.
*Other differences are applied to Feed axis synchronization control.
