1.4 Relation with other functions
Tandem control
Tandem control can be applied to both the master axis and slave axis. The same axis
arrangement restriction as that for normal tandem control is applicable. There is no restriction
specific to this function.
Pitch error compensation / Backlash compensation
Pitch error compensation and backlash compensation are applied to the master axis and slave
axis independently regardless operation mode.
Coordinate system setting command
A command with no movement along an axis, such as the workpiece coordinate system
setting command (G92) and the local coordinate system setting command (G52), is applied to
follows.
Synchronization operation :
The command is applied to master axis by the use of a program command for the
master axis.
Slave-axis single operation :
The command is applied to slave axis by the use of a program command for the
master axis.
Other operation :
The command is applied to each axis by the use of a program command for the each
axis.
Mirror image
Mirror image by input signal or mirror image by setting parameter are effective as follows.
Synchronization operation :
Effective only for the master axis.
Slave axis single operation :
Effective only for the slave axis.
Other operation :
Effective for the each axis.
