Contouring Control
Start of Contouring Control
L_ X_ R31 ;
The spindle mode is changed to the contouring control mode at the time L_,
and the spindle is decelerated and stopped at the position X_.
The command is ignored when the spindle is already in contouring control
mode (R31).
In case that parameter PCA(No.11104#0) is 1, the position (X_) becomes the
value of workpiece coordinate.
In case that parameter PCA(No.11104#0) is 0, the position (X_) becomes the
value of machine coordinate.
In Contouring Control
During contouring control, the data is the same as the data of the axis motion
table.
End of Contour Control
L_ R30 ;
Parameter PCA(No.11104#0) doesn't influence End of contour control (R30).
Start of Constant Surface Speed Control
L_ S_ IP=_ R41;
The spindle goes under the constant surface speed control at time L_.
Surface speed is specified in S-address. The unit is m/min or feet/min. The
standard axis and position is specified IP=_.
The standard axis name can be specified with not only one address word such
as X, but also one address word and path number such as X2. The servo axis
in other paths (heads) can be commanded as the standard axis even if the
expanded axis name (parameter No.1025, No.1026) is not applied.
In case that parameter PCA(No.11104#0) is 1, the standard position (IP=_)
becomes the value of workpiece coordinate. Because tool compensation
quantity is considered to calculate surface, specify the standard position = 0
generally.
