1.1.4 Creating a Memory Card Program
Create a program storage file ("FANUCPRG.BIN") on a commercially available personal
computer by using a memory card program creation tool.
The number of program storage file entries (total number of program files and folders) can be
selected from the following:
・63, 500, 1000
To use the memory card program operation/editing function, write a program storage file to a
memory card formatted in the FAT format.
NOTE
1 For details of operation, refer to "FANUC Series 30i Memory Card
Program Tool Operation Manual".
2 To use, with the memory card program operation/editing function, a
program storage file that allows more than 63 entries to be created, the
option for "memory card program entry count extension" is required.
Major functions
1) Creation of a folder
A folder can be added in a program storage file.
2) Deletion of a folder
A folder can be deleted from a program storage file.
3) Renaming of a folder
A folder in a program storage file can be renamed.
4) Renaming of a program file
A program file in a program storage file can be renamed.
5) Deletion of a program file
A program file can be deleted from a program storage file.
6) Addition of a program file
A program file can be added in a program storage file.
A program file may include a main program or subprogram/macro program.
Folder name/program file name
The same naming rule as used with the CNC_MEM device (CNC program storage memory)
is used for folders and program files.
