4 OPERATIONS TO FINISH
PMC Program Conversion Tool may not generate the result which can
run as same as the conversion source program. Following manual
operation on FANUC LADDER-IIIC may be needed to finish the
conversion.
• Modification of LD
A net which cannot be converted by the tool is inserted as
comment data. Please replace it with appropriate instructions.
To recognize the comment automatically inserted by the tool from
comment data described in the source program by the user, %CL
is inserted at the beginning of automatically generated comment
strings. Please use it for searching.
Moreover, changing the comment display mode of FANUC
LADDER-IIIC to the "full" mode is recommended.
In default setting, only the first line of the comment is displayed,
other lines are omitted, and double-click of comment instruction is
needed to display the entire comment strings in LD editor.
This setting can be found at Editors – Ladder – View in Option
tab in Navigator.
• Optimization of LD
The PMC Program Conversion Tool does not use sophisticated
conversion algorithm to generate instructions and functions that
are available only on the target PMC models but simply replaces
the instructions one by one.
Please manually edit the conversion result if you want to use these
functions to optimize LD execution.
