1.1 Outline
Analog servo interface unit of Series 16i/18i/21i is for the connection to analog servo. Up to 8 axes
analog servo amplifier can be connected to Series 16i, up to 6 to 18i, and up to4 to 21i.
1.2 Specifications
1) Two types of analog servo interface
* Type F analog servo interface
The ready signal and alarm signal from servo amplifier are 5VDC signals.
* Type M analog servo interface
The ready signal and alarm signal from servo amplifier are 24VDC signals.
2) The analog servo interface unit consists of basic unit and extension unit.
3) The basic unit has two analog servo axis interface and feedback interface.
4) The extension unit has two analog servo axis interface and feedback interface.
5) Up to 8 for 16i, 6 for 18i axes analog servo interface is connected to one FSSB line with two
groups of basic unit and extension unit.(two basic units and two extension units) Up to 4 for
21i axes analog servo interface is connected to one FSSB line with one group of basic unit and
extension unit.
6) Separate absolute pulse coder can be connected.
7) Parallel feedback interface from pulse coder and serial feedback interface from pulse coder can
be selected.
8) Environmental temperature of unit is 0 degree C to 55 degree C in operation, -20 degree C to 60
degree C in store or transportation.
9) At the present time, the analog servo interface unit and the servo card for servo HRV3 control
function can not be used simultaneously. After the version up of the CNC software it will
become possible. ( Please ask us this software version and the release time) But even after that,
high speed HRV3 current control is not adapted. The high speed HRV3 current control is not
adapted to only analog axes, but also digital axes connected to the same servo card. Note)
Some CNC do not contain the servo card for servo HRV3 control.
