4. DESCRIPTION OF PARAMETERS
111
1946 MCC shut–off test timer for dual check safety function
NOTE
When this parameter has been set, the power must be
turned off before operation is continued.
[Data type] Word
[Unit of data] ms
[Valid data range] 0 to 32767
In the MCC shut–off test mode with the dual check safety function, the
CNC executes an MCC shut–off test of safety output signal. If the MCC
shut–off test is not completed within the time of the MCC shut–off test
timer, a servo alarm is raised. If the setting is 0 or smaller, 10000 ms is
assumed.
1947 MCC off timer 1 for dual check safety function
1948 MCC off timer 2 for dual check safety function
NOTE
After this parameter is set, the power must be turned off
then back on for the setting to become effective.
[Data type] Word
[Unit of data] ms
[Valid data range] 0 to 32767
If the MCC on enable signal MCF has to be set to 0 (MCC turned off) by
an alarm or emergency stop, with the dual check safety function, the CNC
and monitor bring the MCC on enable signal (MCF) to 0 when the time of
MCC off timer has elapsed after the occurrence of alarm or emergency
stop.
If a spindle alarm is raised, the timer is not used. The MCC on enable
signal MCF is immediately set to 0.
If the MCC is shut off while the spindle motor is rotating, the spindle
motor enters the freewheeling state, then stops (after a certain period of
time). If the spindle motor has to be stopped quickly, use this parameter to
stop the spindle motor and then shut off the MCC.
