In the Test for Safe Reduced Speed Monitoring the system reaction for every safe speed
for axes and spindles has to be tested. We recommend for the test to perform a Jog
movement at speed, which far exceeds the limited speed set. Basically it becomes
enough to verify, that system reacts with corresponding alarms at exceeding the
limiting speeds.
The maximum speed, hunting distance and time to stop depends on the test condition. If
2000mm/min limiting speed (above safe speed 2 for X-axis) gets tested with Jog
movement of 10000 mm/min, the system will react prior to the exceeding of the limiting
speed. If instead the axis gets first moved at 1950 mm/min, before commanding the axis at
exceeding speed, limiting speed of 2000mm/min might get exceeded. For proving the above tests
we recommend to link corresponding Servo Guide measurements to the above table as following
example for X-axis (for above test No. 1 and 6):
Setting Servo Guide for X:
Channel 1: Speed in mm/min Koeff 75000/32768 (blue)
Channel 2: Posf in mm Koeff: 0,00025/1 (red)
Channel 3: VCMD in mm/min Koeff: 75000/32768 (green)
