2.5. Completing the Certificate
The Checksum to be entered above is not safety related. It provides just a general index
for a subset of parameters supposed to be fixed all the time. Among this subset there
are also the dual check safety parameters, which are usually password protected.
Please verify that the Dual Check Safety Parameters are password protected by PRM.

Please consider that GEFanuc parameter report in chapter 4 may contain internal
checksums for safety parameters only. This will simplify also the parameter comparison of two
different acceptance tests of machines identical in construction.
Regarding the signatures at the end of this chapter please consider the following:
FIRST SIGNATURE: Person in charge for the test: Can be FANUC/GEFANUC engineer or MTB assigned
person.
SECOND SIGNATURE: Must be signed by MTB responsible person as counter signature.
The same person can do first and second signature.
