2.4. A method which makes manual aging stop
When aging function starts up, the setting values of gas pressure and laser output conditions are
renewed automatically. If you want to stop aging function during aging function is executed and
want to execute usual start up sequence, see as follows. Both manual aging and automatic aging are
the same operation.
(a) The machine that can’t operate HV-ON(High voltage on).
1. Run-off the laser oscillator and wait till PURGE status.
2. Set the value of “MANUAL MODE” on the page 1 to “0”.
3. Set the value of “AGING” on the page 1 to “1”.
4. Set the present time to each “TIME DATA” on the page 1
5. After setting values are changed, run-on the laser oscillator again. The parameters of gas
pressure (No.15242, No.15243) are changed to the value of No.15324 and No.15325
automatically, and the parameters of power calibration condition (No.15201, No.15332,
No.15333, No.15205) are changed to the values of parameters from No.15320 to No.15323.
(b) The machine that can operate HV-ON.
1. Turn off the HV-ON
2. Set the value of “TIME LEFT” on the page 1 to “0”
3. After setting value is changed, turn on the HVON again. The parameters of gas pressure
(No.15242, No.15243) are changed to the value of No.15324 and No.15325 automatically,
and the parameters of power calibration condition (No.15201, No.15332, No.15333,
No.15205) are changed to the values of parameters from No.15320 to No.15323.
2.5. Screen changing
Page 2 and 3 can be hidden by parameter setting. When parameter No.15014#4=0, only page 1 can
be displayed and item "Manual mode" can be changed. Page 2 and page 3 cannot be displayed.
When parameter No.15014#4=1, all the pages can be displayed. Please set this parameter to 0
usually.

０：Only Page 1 can be displayed and only item "Manual mode" can be set.
The only value "2" can be set in the item "Manual times".
１：All the items of all the pages can be displayed. The value from 2 to 255 can
be set in the item "Manual times".
4. Remark
・The automatic aging function setting screen can be displayed whether automatic aging function is
available.
・The screen is available on and after the following software edition.
