6. Connection example
Analog input separate detector interface unit is connected to FSSB line by optical cables.
Four encoders with analog interface are available for one unit.
Expansion unit of Analog input separate detector interface unit is not prepared, so, in
the case that five or more encoders with analog interface are used, two Analog input
separate detector unit is necessary.
Connector JA4A is for the absolute encoders connected to Expansion unit of Separate
detector interface unit
Note
1. Encoders connected to Analog input separate detector unit on
first or second FSSB cannot be used for the servo axes on
third FSSB line, but for the servo axes on first or second FSSB
line.
2. Encoders connected to Analog input separate detector unit on
third FSSB cannot be used for the servo axes on first or
second FSSB line, but for the servo axes on third FSSB line.
3. The caps should be applied for the optical connectors not used.
