4. Signals
4.1 Explanation of signals
[Classification] Input signal
Override cancellation signals for
each PMC axis group
OVCE<G150#5>, OVCEB<G162#5>,
OVCEC<G174#5>, OVCED<G186#5>,
OVCEE<G472#5>, OVCEF<G484#5>,
OVCEG<G496#5>, OVCEH<G508#5>
[Function]
When the parameter IOVC(8009#0) is set to
“1”, each signal fixes the cutting feedrate override of
PMC axis control to 100% for each PMC axis group.
[Operation] When this signal is set to “1”, the cutting
feedrate override of PMC axis control for each axis group
is cancelled.
When each signal is “1”, the CNC
operates as follows:
- Feedrate override corresponding to each override
cancel signal(OVCEg) is fixed to 100% irrespective
of feedrate override signal.
- Rapid traverse override and spindle speed override
are not affected.
[Classification] Input signal
Feedrate override signals for
each PMC axis group
*FV0E to *FV7E<G151> ,
*FV0EB to *FV7EB<G163>,
*FV0EC to *FV7EC<G175>,
*FV0ED to *FV7ED<G187>,
*FV0EE to *FV7EE<G473>,
*FV0EF to *FV7EF<G485>,
*FV0EG to *FV7EG<G497>,
*FV0EH - *FV7EH<G509>
[Function]
When the parameter INOV(8009#1) is set to
“1”, these signals override the cutting feedrate of PMC
axis control for each axis group. Eight binary code
signals correspond to override values as follows:
7
Override value = Σ ( 2
i
×Vi ) %
i=0
Vi=0 when *FViEg is “1” and
Vi=1 when
*FViEg is “0”
These signals have the following weight.
*
FV0Eg : 1%, *FV1Eg : 2%, *FV2Eg : 4%
*FV3
Eg : 8%, *FV4Eg : 16%, *FV5Eg : 32%
*FV6
Eg: 64%, *FV7Eg : 128 %
When all signals are “0”, they are regarded as
overriding 0% in the same way as when all signals are
“1”. Thus, the override is selectable in steps over a
range of 0 to 254%.
[Operation] Actual feedrate is obtained by multiplying the speed
specified in cutting feed in PMC axis control by the override value
selected by this signal
(*FV0Eg-*FV7Eg). The override is
regarded as 100%, regardless of this signal in the following cases:
Override cancel signal OVCEg is “1”.
Note
1. When this function is used in multi path control mode (G130) in automatic operation
mode, only the signals, that belong to the axis group with the smallest axis number in
the axes involved in the same path, are effective.
2. The suffix “g” of the signal “OVCEg” and “*FviEg” means PMC axis group “A” to “H”.
