Change of gear ratios
Gear ratios can be changed during an automatic operation by
changing values of parameters for gear ratios (parameter
No.5680~5687 and 5690~5693), using programmable parameter
input (G10).
Note
1 When gear ratios are changed, synchronization mode signals
(Fx381) is set to 0, and acceleration/deceleration is executed.
When the feedrate is reached the synchronization feedrate, the
signals are set to 1 again.
2 If automatic phase synchronization is performed after changing
gear ratios, the position which the phase of the slave axis is
matched is as follows.
Master axis : machine zero position
(Parameter No.13433~13436)
Slave axis : the position at the synchronization start
(when flexible synchronous control mode select
signal (Gx197) is set to 1)
3.3 Caution
1) The next block is not executed until acceleration/deceleration of
the synchronization start or cancellation is finished during an
automatic operation.
2) When the master axis is stopping, phase synchronization does
not start. When the master axis stops during movement of phase
synchronization, the slave axis moves until the phase
synchronization is finished.
3) CNC calculation may involve an error at calculating output pulse
of the slave axis. Therefore, the phase of the slave axis may not
be matched by least input increment. This error does not
accumulate.
4) The position at which the phase of the slave axis is matched is
the position at the synchronization start (when flexible
synchronous control mode select signal (Gx197) is set to 1).
5) This function is disabled in the following function:
- High-speed remote buffer A or B
- High-speed cycle machining
- AI contour control/AI nano contour control
- High-precision contour control
- AI high-precision/AI nano high-precision contour control
