2 FLEXIBLE SYNCHRONOUS CONTROL BETWEEN PATH
2.1 General
This function enables flexible synchronous control between axes in
different paths in multi-paths system.
Each path has four synchronization groups. An axis in other path can
be specified as a master axis of a group.
All synchronization groups in all paths can be performed
simultaneously.
This function needs “Flexible synchronous control between 2 path”
option.
2.2 Details
Master axis numbers are set in parameter Nos. 5660, 5662, 5664,
and 5666. To specify an axis in other path, add the path number ×10
to parameter setting value. Only axis number specifies an axis in own
path.
Slave axis numbers are set in parameter Nos. 5661, 5663, 5665, and
5667. Slave axis must be in own path.
Ex.) Master axis:1st axis in path 1, Slave axis:1st axis in path 2.
No.5660 in path 2 = 11
No.5661 in path 2 = 1 or 21
A slave axis can become a master axis in another group.
However, when synchronization mode is turned on, if the relation of
master and slave axes loops, the PS5242 (ILLEGAL AXIS NUMBER)
alarm is issued.
