This section describes the safety precautions related to the use of FANUC Digital Servo Adapter. It is essential
that these precautions be observed by users to ensure the safe operation of machines equipped with a Digital Servo
Adapter (all descriptions in this section assume this configuration).
Digital Servo Adapter maintenance involves various dangers. Digital Servo Adapter maintenance must be
undertaken only by a qualified technician.
Users must also observe the safety precautions related to the machine, as described in the relevant manual supplied
by the machine tool builder.
Before checking the operation of the machine, take time to become familiar with the manuals provided by the
machine tool builder and FANUC.
