4.3.4 Cables to be connected to the Linear motor
(1) Pole sensor cable
For Pole sensor cable, use overall shield cable and ground the shield in both
ends.
(2) Linear encoder cable
For Linear encoder cable, use overall shield cable and ground the shield in
both ends.
(3) Linear motor feedback cable
For feedback encoder cable, use overall shield cable and ground the shield in
both ends.
(4) Linear motor power cable
For power cable, use overall shield cable and ground the shield in both ends.
Peel out the sheath in the amplifier side and make contact with an earth
plate by a cable clamp. Mount an additional grounding bar close to the cable
inlet of the magnetic cabinet. Connect the power cable shields to this
grounding bar. (Refer to 4.3.2(2) as well.)
When a shield tube(ground the shield in both ends.) or metal duct is used for
the connection, a part of non-shield must be a length of 1 meter or less.
(5) Cables for PMC
Cables for PMC also are antennas. Use shield wires and ground the shield in
the cabinet.
