5258 FEED HOLD IN RESTART When the restart procedure is interrupted by
feed hold, this alarm is occurred.
5259 INTERRUPTED POSITION NOT FOUND When the restart position cannot be
searched, this alarm is occurred.
(Complement)
Alarm No.5258 : When this alarm occurs,
the restart procedure can be executed correctly
by pushing the restart switch again
after pushing the reset switch.
This alarm occurs when the restart procedure, which is the restart position
return process, the restart position search process and the motion from
mode start position to head position of interrupted block, is interrupted by
feed hold.
Alarm No.5259 : The cause of this alarm is as follows:
The restart program is altered before executing the restart procedure.
There is any difference between the restart procedure and the
executed procedure.
(example)
In case that “IF” statement of macro is used, the condition differs.
7. Note
1) In executing restart position search process, coordinate values (machine, relative and absolute) and
coordinate systems (external, G92, G52, G54-59) are changed into memorized data. So, in case of
cycle start without executing the restart procedure again after the restart procedure interrupted (e.g.
reset, feed hold), there is necessity to be careful. In this case, the restart procedure should be
executed by pushing the restart switch again in reset state.
2) In case of resume from interrupted block, if the interrupt occurs during the safety zone avoidance
motion, the restart position is always the head position of interrupted block, though the setting of
parameter No.16960#0.
3) During the restart position search process, the signal PF and EF are output as same as usually
program execution. So the PMC should control these signals according to the program auto restart
procedure executing signal, the process finished signal, etc.
4) In case of resume from interrupted position, when the interrupt occurs during the signal PF is
outputting before detecting the signal PFIN, the signal PF is not output at the interrupted position after
restart.
