This section provides information on installing the MODBUS/TCP
board in the LCD-mounted type Series 16i/18i/21i-B.
2.1.1 Installing an Board
An option board such as the MODBUS/TCP board is installed in an
option slot of the control unit. It occupies one slot. Some types of
interface boards can be installed only in certain option slots.
Option board
There is a restriction related to the MODBUS/TCP board. The
MODBUS/TCP board cannot be installed in the following slots:
