7. Disconnection detection disable signal for synchronous spindle motor [9D53/D,9D70C]
7.1. General
Disconnection detection disable signal (DSCNA) for synchronous spindle motor becomes available.
Please note that the specification for synchronous spindle motor is partly different from that for
induction motor.

DSCNA, B : Disconnection detection disable signal
This signal is used to detach the feedback cable between the amplifier and motor.
0 : Enables disconnection and overheat detection.
1 : Disables disconnection and overheat detection (Note 1)
Note 1
In case of synchronous spindle motor, even if disconnection detection disable signal (DSCNA)
is “1”, motor sensor disconnection alarm (spindle alarm 73) is detected during excitation.
In case of synchronous spindle motor, spindle software monitors whether motor sensor
feedback is disconnected or not while disconnection detection disable signal (DSCNA) is “1”.
And detecting disconnection of motor sensor causes that pole position is lost (EPFIXA=0).
Therefore, detecting that motor sensor feedback is disconnected does not cause motor sensor
disconnection alarm (spindle alarm 73) as long as disconnection detection disable signal
(DSCNA) is “1” (except during excitation). But detecting disconnection of motor sensor causes
that pole position is lost.

This signal means whether the pole position is fixed or not.
0 : Pole position is lost.
1 : Pole position is fixed.
