General
Compound machining function enables a single CNC to control
turning and milling for a milling-turning compound machine.
The function provides two modes, the turning and milling modes, and
changes them by certain programming commands(M codes).
With changing modes, programming command systems are also to be
changed peculiar for turning or milling to provide optimum
programming or functions.
Basically, both turning and milling modes have their own CNC
screens where the mode-dependent data such as tool offsets,
parameters or so are specified separately.
