G487 MOSS
MOSS Beam output of the master oscillator is
0:not stopped.
1:stopped. However, the calculation of the output data continues.
Master side beam stop signal MOSS( G224#3) does not depend on the synchronous mode
and stop the beam output on the master oscillator. The laser command is not sent to the
master oscillator but CNC1 makes the active data according to this signal.
A work-piece on the slave table is processed according to the active data sent from the
master CNC. Even when a defective cutting occurs on master table, the slave CNC can
keep cutting by using the machine lock on each axis signals and MOSS signal.
When only the slave oscillator wants to stop the beam, the beam-lock signal on the slave
PMC should be used in case of stopping the beam output only for slave oscillator.
When MOSS signal is 1, the active data are calculated even if beam-lock signal or
shutter-lock signal is 0.
