TITLE
DRAW.NO.
1. Overview
This function enables one path overlapping control on two paths system.
2. Details
2.1 Overlapping control
Overlapping control function add the distribution pulse of an axis (overlapping master axis) to the
distribution pulse of another axis (overlapping slave axis). It looks like the synchronous control, but the
movement command can be done also to the slave axis. The movement of the slave axis becomes
what own command and the command of the master axis are added. The direction of the movement of
the master axis and the slave axis can be reversed by setting the parameter (No.8162#3 OMRx).
One path overlapping control is available to set the parameter (8166#3 2OVL=1). The other
parameters and the signals are common with one path system overlapping control.
2.2 Setting
By setting parameter No.8186, axes used for overlapping control are determined.
(example)
(1) Z1 axis(Main) overlaps on C1 axis(Slave) : Path1:No.8186c = 2
(2) Z2 axis(Main) overlaps on C2 axis(Slave) : Path2:No.8186c = 22
2.3 Command
M code of beginning or releasing overlapping control are continuously commanded in the machining
program. However, the overlapping control can be begun and be released at arbitrariness not depend
on M code command.
2.4 Signal operation
Set overlapping control selection signal, G0190#0-#7 OVLS1-OVLS8, "1" from "0" when beginning
overlapping, or "0" from "1" when releasing overlapping by PMC.
