5. Remarks
5.1 Remarks of overlapping controls
1 The controlled axis must stop at beginning or releasing overlapping control.
2 Two or more axes can be put into the state of overlapping control at the same time. But it is
impossible to overlap an axis with multiple axes at the same time.
3 Least command increment, detection unit and the diameter/radius programming of the axes,
which are controlled by overlapping control, should be the same. If not the same, the amount of
the movement is different.
4 It is impossible to perform overlapping control between linear axis and rotary axis.
5 The related parameter must not be changed while overlapping control is performed.
6 Complete the reference point return after turning on the power supply or put into the state that the
reference point is established by the absolute pulse coder before overlapping control is started.
7 Overlapping control must be begun after completing reference point return and coordinate system
setting after releasing emergency stop, releasing servo-off or restoring servo alarm.
8 Acceleration/deceleration control, pitch error compensation, backlash compensation and stored
stroke check, these processing except acceleration/deceleration control are performed to
positions where overlapping pulse was added during overlapping control.
5.2 The restriction in overlapping control
