FANUC Series 15i-MODEL Order specification for Servo HRV3 function
1.Outline
This document is described the order specification for Servo HRV3 function and the conditions to
specify. Generally in case the Servo HRV3 function is used, only Servo amplifier for Servo HRV3
is used. The document is explanation of limitation and connection which the Servo HRV3 function
is used with present amplifier as a beta amplifier.
The Servo HRV3 has merit as below function.
[1] High speed HRV current control (High precision mode on control loop 62.5 micro)
[2] Smooth feed (Use high precision servo amplifier and detector)
[3] Removal filter function (Low frequency vibration at a machine)
The conditions of hardware or software for use each function of Servo HRV3 is different.
The condition of each function is as followings.
2.Condition
Servo control card for Servo HRV3.
(1) TYPE A: There is one optical connector for FSSB line on one servo control card.
(Servo control card for 2, 4, 6, and 8 axes)
(2) TYPE B: There are two optical connectors for FSSB line on one servo control card.
(Servo control card for 4, 6, and 8 axes)
There is a limitation in the numbers of servo amplifier and the Separate Detector I/F unit which can
be connected with one optical connector (one FSSB line).
In case of high speed HRV current control is not used: The 8 axes + 2 units
In case of high speed HRV current control is used: The 4 axes + one unit
Note 1) The servo control card for Servo HRV3 and the present card which is unavailable for
Servo HRV3 cannot be used together.
Note 2) It is not possible to connect the amplifier over the limit of axis number for servo control
card. In case of type B servo control card for four axes, four axes can be connected to
the
servo control card. In case of servo control card for six axes, six axes can be connected
to
the servo control card.
Servo amplifier
(1) For high speed HRV current control: All functions of Servo HRV3 can be used.
(2) For Servo HRV3: Only high speed HRV current control function of Servo HRV3 function can
not be used. But this amplifier can be connected with the amplifier, which is
set high speed HRV current control, in the same FSSB line together.
(3) The present amplifier: Only removal filter function of Servo HRV3 can be used.
This amplifier can not be connected in the FSSB line for high speed HRV
current control. In case of using high speed HRV current control is not
used, the present amplifier can be used in the same FSSB line with the
one for high speed HRV current control or Servo HRV3.
Note) The FSSB line: There are maximum two optical connectors on one servo control card.
The connection from each optical connector on servo control card to the
servo amplifier or Separate Detector I/F unit one after another is called the
FSSB line.
