Basic SPINDLE Tuning using SERVO GUIDE
5.6. Tuning amplitude ratio/phase difference compensation.
This function improves feed and positioning accuracy on Cs contouring control by compensating the
deviation of feedback due to amplitude ratio and phase difference error between A/B phases.
If you need high accuracy control, adjust the compensation parameters according to following way.
(1) Parameters
Parameter No
16i/18i/21i, 0i
Description Setting range
4355 Compensation of motor sensor signal amplitude ratio. -8 to +8
4356 Compensation of motor sensor signal phase difference -4 to +4
4357 Compensation of spindle sensor signal amplitude ratio -8 to +8
4358 Compensation of spindle sensor signal phase difference -4 to +4
(2) Tuning procedure
Determine the compensation parameters according to following steps.
<1> Rotate the spindle in velocity control mode at following speed.
Spindle speed: N = 4685/ lambda [min
-1
] lambda: number of gear teeth of the position sensor.
In case of 256 lambda, N = 4685/256 = aprox.18 [min
-1
]
<2> Observe MFBDF (in case position sensor is connected to JYA2) or SFBDF (in case position
sensor is connected to JYA4) by servo guide.
<3> Adjust N4355 (for JYA2) or N4357 (for JYA4) to minimize the deviation of waveform.
<4> Adjust N4356 (for JYA2) or N4358 (for JYA4) to minimize the deviation of waveform.
