DATA INPUT/OUTPUT FUNCTIONS BASED ON THE I/O LINK (SLAVE)
General
The input/output of the part program, parameters, macro variables and diagnostic
data (PMC) is possible between the equipment of the master and the Power
Mate i-D/H through the FANUC I/O Link.
IOLNK<G251#0> is a signal for selecting either RS-232-C or FANUC
I/O Link connection when part programs, parameters, macro variables,
and PMC data are transferred.
1) The data I/O control method depends entirely on the function of the
FANUC I/O Link master. This function cannot be used when a
FANUC I/O Link master that does not support this function is used.
The Power Mate-D/E/F/H cannot act as a master with this function.
2) This function can transfer all data that can be transferred via the
RS-232-C interface.
3) For data output, ISO code or EIA code format is selected using
setting parameter ISO.
Setting parameter ISO set to 1: Outputs ISO code.
Setting parameter ISO set to 0: Outputs EIA code.
4) For data input, the ISO or EIA code is identified automatically.
5) The I/O data format of the RS-232-C interface is used.
6) The I/O condition of the RS-232-C interface is used. However, the
user need not set a baud rate or stop bit.

IOLNK<G251#0>
Part programs, parameters, macro variables, and PMC
data can be transferred via the FANUC I/O Link linking a
master unit to the Power Mate.
